Yes, it has been a long time since the last update to the site. Life has pretty much gotten in the way for the last 18 months or so. I will admit some other hobbies have moved forward in that time, things that can be piddled with in the house for an hour here or there late at night when I want to unwind. Not much has happened on the automotive front, for me, however. Unfortunately the site has been one of those things. The fall and winter, hopefully, will bring the change I am expecting. Yes, I know there are not a lot of winter time car shows, and yes its kind of cold to be working in the garage. There are plenty of things going on in the club, however. Plans for the coming year, the Christmas party, plans for Carl Casper, etc. There is some work that needs to be done here, on the site, but I am going to wait until after the end of year elections so that I can go ahead and plug in the correct names: President, Vice President, etc.. Check back!!!
While I have your attention I will go ahead and mention the 5th Annual Hot Rod Cruise Night at Mike Linings. Saturday, Oct. 25th 1pm – 8pm with a Rain Date of Sunday, Oct. 26th from 1pm-8pm. Last year there were over 500 cars and 4,000 people attended.
And finally anyone that is interested in helping at the Louisville Collector Car Fest at the Kentucky State Fair and Exposition Center On November 1st & 2nd please contact David Schulz at 502-594-2485. David has the info on pay and the hours you will be needed. Please contact him as soon as possible if you are interested in working/helping out.

Planning for the '06 GTOAA Nationals is moving along smoothly. The
Louisville chapter would like to pass along thanks to the Indy
GTO Association for offering their assistance at this year's
nationals. Some members of the Indy chapter made the trek to Louisville
for our April meeting so as to come up to speed on the event. Again, our
thanks goes out to them. Speaking of the Indy
GTO Association I would suggest that you check out their "Day
at the Track" car show to be held August 12 at the Indianapolis Motor
Speedway. Come out, enjoy the company, and, as a part of the event, lap
the track!! Any Pontiac '78 and earlier. All GTO's, Firebirds and Fieros
are welcome. Click
Here For Information!!!
Please check out the Nats
Info page as updates have been made!! Specifically all committee heads
have been listed so that you can contact the correct chapter member should you
have questions concerning some aspect of the event.
The Event
Schedule has also been updated. We suggest you check it out.
Don't forget to check back as we will be filling in other events as plans are
finalized.
We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome some of our sponsors.
